Things have been a little crazy in the office these past couple of weeks, so yesterday I took a break from my computer and volunteered to model for the One Light Workshop that my friend Melissa Jill played hostess for here in Phoenix. I hate being in front of the camera and I know a lot of brides do as well, so I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to see how some photographers do with someone who is not so photogenic. There were about 14 photographers for yesterday's workshop and they each had a completely different style of shooting, directing, and interacting with me. It definitely confirmed my belief that you need to find a photographer that you mesh well with personality-wise and not just someone whose work you drool over online.
I'll post more about the workshop later when I get a chance to write more about the photographers I got to meet, but here is a little sneak peek from yesterday. I swiped this photo from Karey Michelle's blog, a great photographer who came in from Orange County, California for the workshop:

I saw 27 Dresses recently. I am not usually a wedding movie fan nor a Katherine Heigl fan (George is married, Izzie, back off!), but this one was actually cute! And James Marsden wasn't too shabby either. I wouldn't recommend it as a date movie (little too girly for that), but it does make for a fun girls-night-out flick.
